Windows Phone 8 utiliserait le noyau NT, tout comme Windows 8

Bien que certaines rumeurs l'aient déjà laissé présager, Microsoft n'a jamais officiellement confirmé que Windows Phone 8 sera exécuté sur le noyeau NT tel qu'il est utilisé sur Windows 8.

Une offre d'emploi récente suggère que ce sera effectivement le cas. Microsoft est en effet à la recherche d'un ingénieur logiciel pour développer sur Windows Phone afin de délivrer un OS robuste, performant et évolutif. L'ingénieur doit avoir une solide expérience avec Win32 et WinNT. Windows Phone 7 et toutes les générations précédentes (Windows Mobile 6, etc) tournent sur Windows CE. Cela confirme bien les informations que nous avions sur les prochaines fonctionnalités de Windows Phone 8. Windows Phone 8 aura donc probablement un noyau NT, tout comme Windows 8. Un écosystème unifié vous dîtes ?
